F22_RaptoR 5/28/2008 3:50:02 AM I think the Mesa stock tube adaptor was made for using Ghost ring and other raised sights. Unless you have a higher cheek bone (like me) then using the bead may be unpossible, unfortunatly. I dont have one of these FYI. Gungho_1989 5/28/2008 9:23:49 AM I would look at a set of ghost rings again maybe they will fit the bill. I dont believe the XS sights would cure the problem though. knightvision 7/21/2008 9:24:01 PM havent been back here in awhile. im actually gonna try a speedfeed stock to see how i like that. im hoping someone wants to switch from the speedfeed to Mesa Tactical adapter so i listed it up for trade. MAX100 7/21/2008 10:19:47 PM I had the same problem with the Mesa Low tube stock adapter. It didn’t work well with either bead sight or with receiver mounted GRS. The recoil was brutal also so I sold it. I now have a Arms Tech stock adapter that has enough stock drop for both and I am very pleased. Recoil with it is the same as a regular stock. The Mesa low tube stock adapter is well made and looks nice but it doesn’t work it is not a good product. GC knightvision 7/21/2008 10:29:27 PM hmmm, i like the idea of the product so maybe i will check the arms tech adapter. i would be curious to see the products side by side. ETA: just checked the product. i think i may try that adapter. MAX100 7/21/2008 10:50:37 PM Here is the Arms Tech on one of my many shotguns. I reinforce the inside with a large washer that I took down the diameter. The large washer gives good metal to metal contact with the screw and lock washer. I used a larger washer in the pistol grip also. The CAA stock saddle gives a good cheek weld. The Tapco SAW grips has enough storage to fit two rounds. I have a SOG Viking rubber pad on the stock which is excellent quality for the money. The shotgun is a Norinco 982 with GRS. The AT adapter has held up well with no problems after about 1000 rounds. It is tough and well made.

This place is very busy at this time, of the year, due to hunting season. Here, in Canada, a lot of people shoots with muzzle breaks. So, the fire lane is very noisy. No better trial conditions. I am professional gunsmith since 25 years, and, I tried ( and hated, some times…) a lot of electronic ear muffs: but, sincerely, I never wore one so comfortable and efficient. I am very impressed by the electronic board: the ”cut and release” time is very, very short. So short that I feel absolutely no ”click” or ”pump” effect. In fact, I feel …no effect! It seemed to me that everybody shoots 22LR!!! (Except the blast….of course.) Excellent , really. Nicholas Encontre Armurier – Gunsmith Repeat customer of Pro-Ears. Once again I want to thank you for your exemplary customer service as you have confirmed my feelings of being a repeat customer of Pro-Ears. – T. VINCI Your hard work and diligence is extremely appreciated Thank you so much for returning my Pro Ears D2s in excellent working order. I’m going to wear them at the Factory Nationals and at the World Shoot in South Africa. Your hard work and diligence is extremely appreciated. – B. I was thinking we could have one that was dedicated to the SKS. I bought (layaway) a Yugo SKS Rifle Stocks today, I paid $251 (is that a good price?) total. It has the flip up grenade sight, and long muzzle device. Stock was dark (possibly dirty?), all numbers matched (don’t know if that’s a [...]
Now you could argue that 30 months of constant on is pretty good and I would be inclined to agree if that that didn’t happen to be only 1/3 of the time the manufacture claimed the battery should last. The battery used was a Duracell with an 03/14 expiration date. Could it have been a bad battery, a fluke, bad luck, etc..? Sure but to have basically the same issue with 2 different products from the same company seems little more then coincidental to me? I really have to wonder if Aimpoint‘s battery claims are just bloated or unrealistic? Purchased it from Primary Arms for a hell of deal. Good people highly recommend them. Performance is fine and durability is fine. It is a bit heavier than the T-1 and it doesn’t have a quick detach release mount. SOCOM just went with the EXPS so obviously they have some confidence in it. Very possible that bin Laden was last seen inside the 65 MOA ring of an EOTech. Your head can be at various positions behind the stock and still pick up the sight picture, which is comforting. I do like the 1 MOA dot in the center for accuracy. I have to say I really like that aspect over a 4 MOA dot or larger dot. Like having the 65 MOA ring for close encounters warm fuzzies. Absolute cowitness with Irons and you can get a riser to do 1/3 if you like that although that adds weight. Battery life is pretty good. Swap out the battery every two months or so. For $495, it’s competitively priced against the XPS2, and offers a few benefits over it. EDM4 Sep 2008 PHL PHL Online Posts: 222 : 0-0-0 : 5/30/2011 3:01:50 T Thanks for the replies. I just bought an EOTech xps and was wondering what the consensus is with co-witness? Do you prefer lower 1/3rd or absolute? Why?
